couch to 5k

new to running, or getting back into it after a long break?

 

our 'couch to 5k' program uses a tried and tested programme to support you to build up your strength and stamina to be able to run 5k after 8 weeks. 

 

our run leaders will guide and support you through the 8 weeks, with two runs together each week and one run for you to complete at a convenient time and place either alone or with others.

just 3 runs per week will see leave you capable and comfortable over 5k distance, and then you can join the pack to continue your running journey. 

how the programme works

our couch to 5k programme is planned over 3 runs each week. Two of those runs are together with the wolfpack. the other run is for you to complete as homework each week. the runs will be sent to you in advance each week via our app, for you to plan and track your progress. you will also become part of the wolfpack couch to 5k chat group to keep everyone motivated and on track through the programme.  

rest, refuel and recover in between each run, then complete all 8 weeks and be ready to complete your first 5k with the pack. 

our leaders will be there to coach, lead and support you throughout the programme.
